My Approach
Are you seeking more meaning, relief, or connection?
Do you want things to change but you're not sure how?
Let's re-write the narratives that are no longer serving you, help you integrate from painful experiences, and expand into a more complete and whole sense of self. I aim to empower clients to better know and accept themselves by leaning into curiosity and finding the courage to ask deep questions. Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating a life transition or career change, tending to your grief, or dealing with uncertainty- you don't need to go through it alone. By understanding who you are today and what led you to this point, we can begin to imagine who you are in the process of becoming.
Therapy is a powerful commitment to your health and wellbeing. It sets a conscious intention to prioritize your needs and explore your dreams.
I meet with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, wherever they're at in their healing journey. This includes supporting children with creative expression and play therapy, helping adolescents through identity development, & guiding adults in finding greater alignment and peace. As a trained death doula, I also guide end-of-life planning and support clients with spiritual concerns or death anxiety.
I welcome clients to engage in:
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
-
somatic experiencing and emotional processing
-
mindfulness practices
-
transpersonal and dream analysis
-
narrative therapy
-
nature immersion
-
play therapy
The focus of sessions may vary from deeply personal wounding to the broader reaching implications of societal, cultural, and environmental crises. We may explore complex topics such as identity, relationships, trauma, fear, grief, or spirituality. Healing is not an easy or linear process. There will likely be many obstacles and challenges along the way. Together we can develop the curiosity, determination, and trust necessary to endure and grow. I'm here for you.

About Me
I began my career in environmental activism; working alongside inspiring communities advocating for healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. I also recognized the dire nature of our predicament and the severe impact it had on the mental health of myself and fellow activists, especially youth. This inspired me to complete a psychology graduate program where I explored therapy from existential, systemic, intergenerational, humanistic, and holistic perspectives. Rather than focusing on diagnosing and prescribing, I strive to offer clients a uniquely individual and empowering experience.
Spending time in nature has been my most reliable and powerful form of therapy. This is why I offer clients the option to conduct our sessions outdoors, benefiting from the natural healing abilities nature provides. I have also gained many incredible insights from books and films. Bibliotherapy, poetry in particular, has been a source of comfort and strength throughout my own healing journey. Some of my favorite books are featured in the resources tab.
